Nexus One
The new phone from Google, the Nexus One, is finally here and available on my carrier, T-Mobile. But there’s a hitch. They’ll only sell it to you at the discounted price if you use an individual plan. Those of us who are on family plans are apparently out of luck.
I contacted T-Mobile to ask them about this only to be told “the Nexus One is sold and upgraded exclusively through Google and HTC. I would love to be able to upgrade this phone for you but you would need to contact HTC at 1-888-716-0479 or go to their website Google.com/phone/support”
Update: According to Google’s support site if you already have a T-Mobile account with a data plan you are not eligible for ANY discount on the Nexus One. This seems to be causing a lot of confusion.
